Miley Ray Cyrus Has the Best of Both Worlds

Miley Ray Cyrus, and her blonde-wig wearing alter-ego Hannah Montana, will be performing quadruple duty tonight: first they will both perform live at Miami's American Airlines Arena (AMR) and later they'll pop out of 684 digital 3D movie screens across the country in the new Disney  (DIS) concert film, "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds."

The movie, produced during 15 year-old Cyrus' current sold-out "Best of Both Worlds" tour, will only be in theaters for one week and is a hot-ticket online. Fandango.com reports that presale demand is near "Harry Potter" levels and that more than 1,000 showings are already sold out. Born Destiny Hope, Cyrus is the popular star of Disney's hit show "Hannah Montana," which co-stars her father, country singer Billy Ray, who sang the 1992 hit "Achy Breaky Heart."

Cyrus received a fair bit of press recently when it was discovered that she uses a body double in parts of her concert. A representative from Miley Cyrus' record label confirmed use of a body double and explains, "After Hannah has completed the featured verse on the duet with the Jonas Brothers, a body double appears approximately one to two minutes prior to the end of the song in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set. Other than during this very brief transitional moment in the show, Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert."

It is projected that Miley Ray Cyras will be worth over a billion dollars by the time she turns twenty. Similar to the Olsen Twins, Cyras has a young fan base that is eager to emulate her. Cyrus is in the process of acquiring a fragrance and clothing line. The busy young starlet will be filming her second movie this spring-- Hannah Montana: The Movie. This film is slated to be released late 2008 or early 2009.
