How To Prepare For Tropical Storm Edouard

Residents near the Texas-Louisiana border are bracing themselves for the arrival of Edouard, the tropical storm expected to intensify to a potential hurricane before hitting Texas or southwest Louisiana in the next 24 hours.

And with winds already whipping at up to 50mph, Texas and southwest Louisiana are preparing for the impact. (Forecasters say warm Gulf waters could strengthen speeds up to 75mph as it moves inland.)

It’s the second major storm to hit the region in less than a month, and a real reminder that everyone should be prepared for a natural disaster.
